CCSA Conference 6 - 9 JUNE 2011

Held at Retiefkamp, Maselpoort near Bloemfontein and hosted by VCSV camp managers Josua and Dalene Deacon.

This years conference was a great success as we shared around our theme of "FOOTPRINT" in the camping ministry
It was a wonderfully successful and blessed conference week at Retiefkamp Maselpoort. We faced floods in June in Bloemfontein with its cold but that did nothing to dampen the spirits of the delegates as God touched our hearts through His Word, worship, fellowship and training. We thank all those involved in making it successful and special.

The spirit at conference confirmed that CCSA is all about networking and sharing resources, training, ideas and caring for one anothers needs. We are not in competition with each other but all serving our awesome God with the same goal of bringing souls to Jesus and refreshing commitments already made. We do nothing for personal gain but rather in the spirit of giving.

This was the programme where we were able to share and network around the questions below

  • what impact are you making on peoples lives
  • how wisely are we using our resources
  • what are the challenges and problems you are facing
  • how can we learn from each other

Acts 2 : 42 - 47
42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,
45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity at heart,
47 praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
